For all those concerned by the “Connect with Facebook” authentication tool, which requests your permission to have access to your facebook profile data, please know that “fanpage toolkit does not access and use your facebook friend information for fanpage toolkit internal or 3rd-party use”. Quite the opposite all facebook profile data accessed, is only used for providing direct functionality to the user, while he/she is a fanpage toolkit subscriber. Due to of the many integrated native facebook applications within our product suite, many of the functions will not work without getting select facebook profile data, including facebook friend information. Examples of this are… FANvite, Account Join Invite for adding additional users to admin your fanpage toolkit account, etc…. Basically, fanpage toolkit users cannot share their account with someone else without having access to their friends list. All we get from the facebook friends list is the subscribers friends profiles, which is only used for enhancing fanpage toolkit functionality for their own use. Nowhere in the system does fanpage toolkit farm and use these profiles for any other use then those mentioned. When and if the time comes that the fanpage toolkit subscriber decides to cancel his/her account, they take their facebook profile data and friends with them. Fanpage toolkit does not permanently store or archive this data for later use…. We take our users privacy and security very seriously, therefore we only request access to the information fanpage toolkit absolutely needs to delivery the functionality that you are paying for.

NOTE… you are someone on a social network only if you associate yourself with your friends/followers, etc…. Without that concept social networking doesn’t exist and is not social anymore. The one thing that our subscribers  need to have for peace of mind… is that their profile, friends list and all their facebook data collected, is used for their own operations only. Without adhering to those security and privacy policies, facebook won’t even allow us to operate.
